Timberland Style Guide

Timberland have put decades of expertise into the designs of their boots and the technology present within, so it can be hard to decide which style to go for. Here, we’ll breakdown a few key points about some of their biggest style to help you choose:

6 Inch Premium

Timberland’s original and best-known boot, the 6 Inch Premium began life as a sturdy, dependable work boot and remains so today, boasting features including anti-fatigue, waterproof leather and the Timberland- pioneered injection-moulding technology that seals the shoe.

However, the 6 Inch Premium has recently begun moonlighting as a staple fashion item. Numerous celebrities have been spotted sporting them, and few products have ridden the explosive wave of blue collar chic as Timberlands have.

The moniker Earthkeepers is used by Timberland to encompass a wide range of boots, including:

  • The Earthkeeper Splitrock 2 hiking boot, similar to the Euro Sprint style listed below.
  • Several women’s styles, such as the Savin Hill chelsea boot and the Birchmont ankle boot.
  • Earthkeeper Cupsoles, which incorporate Timberland’s traditional good looks and features from the 6 Inch Premium in a desert boot style.
  • Earthkeeper 6 Inch (also known as just Timberland Earthkeepers) aim to update the looks of the classic 6 Inch Premium boot with materials such as crushed leather. Tradition - with a twist.

Euro Sprint

These boots are designed for everyday use as well as hiking, and they feel like it. Sturdy, comfortable, and impossibly light, the Euro Sprint has all the hallmarks of a hiking boot, including a tough sole and metal eyelets for maximum structural integrity.

Boat shoes

While not traditionally associated with the brand, boat shoes are, in many ways, a natural progression for Timberland - they need to be rugged, tough and be able to withstand poor conditions.

As you'd expect, Timberland's boat shoes pass the test with flying colours. They combine the above virtues into a classic, traditionally inspired boat shoe style that looks as fantastic as it is practical all year round.
