In this guide, you’ll find comprehensive profiles on our three main styles of K-Swiss trainers.
Style: Classic tennis trainer
Sole: Gum rubber
Extras: Flat laces, metal loop eyelets and embossed tongue logo
The style that first brought the K-Swiss brand to prominence almost half a century ago, the Classic was highly unusual in the American market at the time of its launch, due to its use of leather on a sports shoe.
The Classic may have set the ball-rolling on what is now one of the most lucrative and highly competitive footwear markets in the world, but the style is proof that sometimes, no matter what comes after, the original inspiration is still the best. Its chunky sole and relatively tall upper has inspired countless imitators, but the sleek, minimalist design combined with little touches like the sturdy metal loop eyelets which emphasise the style’s durability.
Style: Casual trainer
Upper: Leather or canvas
Sole: Rubber cupsole
Extras: Branded heel, seven eyelet design
Our staple casual K-Swiss style, the Belmont differs from the Classic VN in a number of ways. Firstly, rather than only being available with a leather upper, the Belmont also comes in suede and a combination of the two for a stylish, contemporary look.
The Belmont is available in a variety of colourways, with one of the most popular styles featuring a white canvas upper with contrasting coloured detailing on the heel and tongue. As with both the Belmont and the Lozan 3, the Belmont features K-Swiss’ iconic five stripe design.
Style: Sports-casual trainer hybrid
Upper: Leather or suede
Extras: Metal loop eyelets, branded tongue and heel
A hybrid of the Classic VN and the Belmont, the Lozan 3 offers the wearer the best of both worlds. Boasting a similarly rounded silhouette as the Classic in the mold of classic tennis shoes, but with a lower profile similar to the Belmont, the Lozan 3 comes in a wider range of colourways and upper materials.
Like the Classic, the Lozan features the brand’s iconic metal D-ring eyelets, which aid in achieving the perfect tight fit to help maximise sporting potential. The lower profile lends the Lozan 3 a more casual element, making these the perfect all-round K-Swiss style.
