Blog/Footwear News/Cloggs Have Been Nominated for a Drapers Footwear Award!
Last month, we brought you the exciting news that we’d been nominated for a Drapers Digital award in the “Best Multichannel Retailer - Under £10m turnover” category. We’re delighted to report that we have now been nominated in the separate Drapers Footwear Awards in the category of “Footwear Pure-play/Multichannel Retailer of the Year”!
The combination of these two nominations is a fantastic achievement for Cloggs. The Drapers Digital nod is a testament to the quality of our website, the user experience that it provides, our customer service and the extraordinary levels of integration that we’ve achieved between our website and our stores in York, Newcastle and Shrewsbury.
The nomination for the Drapers Footwear Awards is a celebration less of our technical e-commerce achievements and more of the incredible selection of brands we’ve put together as part of a focussed yet wide-ranging proposition.
In the past year, our buying and merchandising teams have worked tirelessly to put together a cohesive range of varied brands that all interlink and work together to make us the only shoe shop you’ll ever need.
2014 saw us add several major manufacturers, including the likes of Barker, Dubarry of Ireland, DKNY, Cheaney, Loake, Mocks, Red Wing and many more. The intention behind the addition of the new brands was to add to our already comprehensive range of shoes, boots and sandals (and everything in between) for women, men and kids and provide a complete range of price points.
We’ve also expanded our choice of accessories significantly, and we now offer everything from hats to sock and from shoe care products to even a hip flask!
