Cloggs.co.uk opened the doors of its brand new flagship store in Birmingham on 12th September 2009 and hasn't looked back since! Instead of shying away from expansion or diversifying into new channels, we literally took the retail shopping bull by the horns and opened a store, in the depths of the UK recession, right next door to Selfridges on the Lower Level of the Bullring Shopping Centre in the heart of Birmingham.

Why Retail? Cloggs.co.uk Sells Shoes Online?

Most customers and people who know the Cloggs brand have the misconception that we sell our portfolio of footwear through our UK website. What people haven’t realised is that behind the scenes we have rapidly become a multi channel brand – selling in France and Germany through dedicated language sites as well as having featured stores on both Ebay and Amazon. All of these channels have huge potential for us, which we will be maximising thoroughly, but the missing piece in the jigsaw was a strong retail presence. The new Cloggs.co.uk Bull Ring store is just the start of this missing piece.

Online and Retail Fusion

Whilst our retail shop is sleek, sassy and state of the art, Cloggs.co.uk didn’t want our retail and online channels to remain entirely separate. We wanted to ensure that there was fusion between the two channels which is why you will find similar functions like a pre-order service and next day delivery available in the shop, as well as touch screen terminals in-store where customers can interact with the website from the comfort of the store We’ve actually successfully integrated an online business with high street retail shopping. That has to be a first!

What Shoes Will You Find In The Bull Ring Shop?

Our Bull Ring Store is used to showcase all of the popular, competitively priced brand-name footwear that we sell online. Our top brands include UGG Boots, including all the latest must-have styles such as UGG Bailey Button and Cardy UGGs. You will also be able to purchase all the classic boot brands ready for the winter such as Dr Martens, Fitflop Boots and Timberland.

We are also showcasing the MBT collection of boots and shoes, which can only be bought from the Bullring store. Commonly known by their slogan 'The anti-shoe', MBT is a healthy brand of footwear designed to stabilise the body by supporting the body and preventing joint and back pain.

Why The Bull Ring Shopping Centre?

The Bull Ring is one of Europe’s largest Shopping centres, attracting just over 35 million shoppers a year. As Cloggs.co.uk originated in the Midlands, the commercial opportunity combined with Cloggs’ roots just seemed like too good an opportunity to miss! It also seemed important to be situated in one of the iconic buildings of Birmingham that is known nationwide.
