Online and high street footwear retailer Cloggs have won a prestigious Drapers Digital Awards for “Best Multichannel Retailer - Under £10m turnover”!

A Drapers Digital Award is considered “the ultimate accolade for digital excellence”, and Cloggs are delighted to have won after being placed in a category with some stiff competition.

After receiving the award, Chris Thomas, Managing Director said, “We are absolutely delighted to receive this prestigious award from Drapers in recognition of our multichannel experience. Having been commended by the judges for “excellent customer service and strong profitability”, the Best Multichannel Retailer award is testament to the business growth Cloggs have shown over the past 12 months. Not only has their physical presence on the high street grown, adding York and Newcastle city centre stores to complement their existing location in Shrewsbury, but they’ve welcomed a series of high profile new brands onboard, including country and sailing outfitters Dubarry of Ireland to their already impressive brand portfolio.

Development on the innovative Cloggs website, which saw the retailer become one of the first major e-commerce websites to embrace responsive design, has continued apace, with new features added on a constant basis. With free delivery on orders over £50, free returns and delivery options 7 days a week, the customer experience is considered at every stage of their journey.

The customer service element of the business came highly commended by the Drapers judging panel, and it’s evident that the developments in Cloggs’ customer service strategy has paid off. Having been given the accolade of Feefo Gold Trusted Merchant in 2015, this is not the first time their customer services have been commended.
