Onitsuka Tiger developed football boots for the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo, and at the Mexico Olympics in 1968 Japan won a bronze medal. By 1972, Onitsuka Tiger had developed an innovative manufacturing process called ‘Direct Injection’ which improved the durability and stability of football boots. The INJECTOR DX is a stud-free street shoe based on the original football boot from 1972.
