“Despite the hype and 'celeb status' surrounding Crocs I decided to try them. As a physical therapist I'm on my feet a lot and usually wear trainers. I was confused about sizing - the Beach style starts at XS (uk 2-3) and the Cayman at a 4, so wasn't sure which to get being a uk size 3. I have narrow feet so decided to try them in a shop first before buying online as the shop didn't have the colour I wanted. More about colours later.. I ended up with the Cayman and am converted. The roomy fit feels strange initially, but as there's not much of the shoe touching your foot it's like having no shoes on. Total comfort, and they're so light it's like walking on air. I love the feeling of the contoured footbed; it gently massages your underfoot which feels pleasant if you're on your feet a lot. I wasn't sure if the rubber material would make my feet sweat.. and do my feet sweat.. but the contoured footbed means air circulates underneath so this doesn't happen. The air holes in the top and sides add to this. My feet are just the right temperature wearing them, as the rubber conducts and retains warmth too. Magic! Colours - some normal and some crazy so a good range! Saw some silver ones that I simply must have as an 'evening shoe'. It's mad. ”
