How to use UGG® Australia Sheepskin Cleaner and Conditioner

UGG® Australia produce their own branded sheepskin care kit containing cleaner and conditioner to help you to keep your UGG Boots in tip top condition. You should take the following steps:

1. Dampen the sheepskin with clean, cold water.
2. Dilute the cleaner and conditioner with water (equal amounts of water plus cleaner and conditioner should be used).
3. Apply a small amount of the diluted cleaner onto a dampened sponge. Never apply the cleaner directly onto your UGGs as this could ruin the sheepskin.
4. Gently scrub your UGG Boots. Never scrub aggressively as sheepskin has a delicate surface which could be damaged if you scrub too hard. Rinse with clean cold water.
5. Stuff your boots with paper to maintain their shape and allow to dry naturally. Never dry using artificial heat or in direct sunlight.
6. Once dry lightly brush with a suede/ nubuck brush in one single direction.

How to Maintain Your UGG Boots

If your UGG Boots are only slightly grubby you may not feel the need to use the UGG Australia Sheepskin Care Kit with cleaner and conditioner. If this is the case use a damp cloth or sponge to gently wipe your boots. If you have a small soiled area lightly brush the stained area with a soft brush. Stuff the boots with paper and then allow to dry naturally, otherwise they will shrink. When dry brush them with a suede / nubuck brush in one direction.

How to Clean Fancy Sheepskin, Fancy Suede and All Leather UGG Boots

If you have any of the UGGs above you use a soft, damp rag and wipe or blot gently. You should not use any form of cleaning product on these boots. You should not use brushes either.

As UGG Boots are made of high grade sheepskin leather you should only ever hand wash your boots. You should never wash them in a washing machine as this could stretch or shrink them beyond repair. You should never use chemicals on them either as this could stain your boots.
