If you are unsure what size FitFlop Sandals and FitFlop Boots to buy there is a simple way to ensure the perfect fit! All you have to do is use this handy FitFlop Size Chart.
FitFlop Sandals Only Come in Whole Sizes
FitFlop sandals are only available in whole sizes, you should opt for the next size up if you are a ½ size. So, if you are a 5 ½ you should opt for a size 6 and so on. However, if you have narrow feet or a low instep you should go for the next size down! This is because the upper bands on FitFlop sandals do not stretch or contract and you want to make sure that they sit comfortably on your feet.
If you have wide feet don't worry as FitFlop sandals will still fit! The foot bed is slightly wider than the average shoe, so you should have no problem at all. If you have a high instep you should consider trying the next size up as the upper bands on FitFlop sandals do not stretch. Alternatively you should just persevere with your normal size. As the midsole custom molds and compresses to fit your instep after a couple of days you should find them entirely comfortable.
If you are planning on buying FitFlop Boots such as the Mukluk Tall and Mukluk Short you should bear in mind that they should fit snugly and comfortably without socks. As the FitFlop Mukluk are made from sheepskin they can regulate the temperature of your feet and whick away moisture to ensure that your feet remain dry. Also if you don't wear socks you will benefit the most from the Microwobbleboard ™technology and get a great workout while you walk!
With other FitFlop boots such as the FitFlop Superboot, these can be worn with socks. The fit of the FitFlop Superboot is a snugger fit than sheepskin FitFlop boots. We would suggest that you go for your normal size. However, if you find that your FitFlop Superboots are too small, you can easily take advantage of our fantastic free exchange service and get the next size up.
When wearing FitFlop boots you will also experience the feeling of 'freefoot' – where your toes and forefoot will be held quite snugly but the heel is looser. This is perfectly natural for a FitFlop boot to maximise the workout benefits of the midsole.
