Cleaning FitFlop Sandals

If you have purchased FitFlop sandals like the Walkstar, Electra and Pietra, they should benothing more than cleaning with a damp lint free cloth every now and then. However, if you do get them unusually dirty they won't be harmed if you use a lint free cloth and a small amount of clear liquid detergent to get rid of stubborn dirt and stains. Many customers have even used a toothbrush on them, with no harmful effects reported either. We strongly advise against placing FitFlop sandals in a washing machine, ensure that you only hand clean.

Cleaning FitFlop Gogh

As Goghs are made from suede we recommend lightly brushing the outer suede with a suede brush to remove any dirt, mud or salt stains. If they do get damp you should dry them in a warm, airy area away from direct sunlight. You should stuff them with paper towels to ensure that they maintain their shape whilst drying. FitFlop Happy Gogh is made of a patent leather, so can be simply wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Cleaning FitFlop Mukluk Boots

As these brand new FitFlop Boots are made with Grade A sheepskin you need to take extra care when trying to clean them to ensure you don't damage the sheepskin. If they are only slightly grubby you should wipe them with a soft, damp cloth. Alternatively you could lightly brush any stained area with a soft brush.

Using Sheepskin Cleaner and Conditioner FitFlop Mukluk

You should always try to use a specialist sheepskin cleaner and conditioner on this style of FitFlop boots, as any other chemicals may damage them beyond all recognition. This is the procedure you should follow:

1. Dampen the sheepskin with clean, cold water.
2. Dilute the cleaner and conditioner according to the instructions received with the product.
3. Apply a small amount of the diluted cleaner onto a dampened sponge. Never apply the cleaner directly onto your FitFlop Boots or you may run the risk of ruining the sheepskin.
4. Gently rub your FitFlop Boots and wipe away with clean cold water.
5. Stuff your boots with paper to maintain their shape and allow to dry naturally for at least 24 hours. Never dry using artificial heat or in direct sunlight.
6. Once dry lightly brush with a suede/ nubuck brush in one single direction.

Cleaning FitFlop Superboot™ Boots

The FitFlop Superboot™ is available in either leather or suede leather. For the Superboot™ Leather, we would suggest that you take care of them like any other pair of leather footwear and that you simply wipe them with a dampened cloth.

If you need to clean your Superboot™ Suede Boots, you need to take care of them slightly differently.
