The only lifetime guarantee which Dr Martens offer is on those products in the FOR LIFE range. All products in this range have FOR LIFE marked on their sole, ie if they don’t say FOR LIFE on the sole, they are not covered by a lifetime guarantee. All other styles made by Dr Martens do come with a warranty against manufacturing defects. This excludes wear and tear, fit, size and comfort problems.
Although all Dr Martens products are built to be exceptionally durable, only styles in the Industrial collection are waterproof and water-resistant.
The vast majority of the footwear which Dr Martens produce uses leather in its construction, whether for the uppers, linings, laces, welts or footbed. To find out which leather-free styles are available in your area, please contact our customer services department and they’ll be happy to help.
Dr Martens offers a warranty against footwear manufacturing defects, but not wear and tear, fit, size or comfort issues. The only exception to this is the Dr Martens FOR LIFE range: this comes with a comprehensive lifetime guarantee.
All Dr Martens Fashion footwear is tested by an internationally recognised, independent third-party assessor, to ensure that everything produced meets industry guidelines for slip resistance. Dr Martens Industrial footwear is designed and tested to ensure the compliance of its slip-resistance properties with relevant standards.
Dr Martens boots and shoes continue to be popular in a wide range of food and hospitality environments, owing to their air-cushioned sole. Dr Martens cannot guarantee its products for environments where there is regular exposure to grease and oils. In order to extend the life of your boots and shoes, we recommend regular cleaning to remove dirt, grime and oil – with a mild grease-cutting soap and warm water.
